Popis: | The article presents an analysis of the prevalence of anxiety and depression in people with obstructive ventilation disorders based on the results of the RESPECT population study (RESearch on the PrEvalence and the diagnosis of COPD and its Tobacco-related aetiology). The findings indicate a high prevalence of subclinical and clinical anxiety (18.4%) or depression (21.3%) among people with persistent obstructive ventilation disorders. People with such disorders have been inclined to show more severe health problems and a lower self-esteem for their health. |
