Popis: | The rotational Zeeman effect in vinyl formate was observed. The rotational molecular g values are gaa=−0.1759±0.0010, gbb=−0.0342±0.0006, and gcc=−0.0059±0.0006. The magnetic susceptibility anisotropies in units of 10−6 erg G−2 mole−1 are 2χaa−χbb−χcc=9.5±1.3 and 2χbb−χaa−χcc=20.8±1.1. The molecular quadrupole moments in units of 10−26 esu cm2 are Qaa=−0.1±1.4, Qbb=+1.2±1.4, and Qcc=−1.1±2.2. The relative performance of Stark modulated and Fourier transform spectrometers is examined. |
