Popis:	In this short piece, I discuss a recent topic in the mechanism design literature regarding the performance of strategy-proof rules. From the revelation principle, all strategy-proof rules are equivalent but it has been found that some perform better than others in practice. In line with some of the recent literature, I advocate for a more thorough study and the addition of protective criterion on top of strategy-proofness.
