This study focuses on the problem of preventive efforts in law enforcement of e-commerce fraud based on Indonesian Cyber Law. The reason for choosing this issue is because the number of victims of e-commerce fraud is very high in Indonesia, while preventive law enforcement studies have received less attention in previous research activities. This research is included in the type of normative legal research, using library research methods with a statutory approach. The data is obtained by reviewing primary legal materials in the form of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Electronic Information and Transactions, and secondary legal materials in the form of books, research results, journals, and electronic information from the internet. Based on this research, it is concluded that law enforcement of e-commerce fraud in the Information and Electronic Transaction Law in Indonesia does not pay attention to preventive efforts to prevent and minimize e-commerce fraud in Indonesia. As a result, victims of e-commerce fraud have increased sharply, along with the increasing use of the internet during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Based on the results of this study, it is important to conduct further and in-depth research regarding the high number of victims of e-commerce fraud related to the implementation of government policies in law enforcement against e-commerce fraud. |
