Popis: | The donor-acceptor compounds TTF-MS4C4(CF3)4 where TTF = tetrahiafulvalene and M = Cu, Au, Pt, Ni are mixed-stack quasi-one-dimensional magnetic insulators of remarkable variety. For M = Cu, Au, a novel progressive spin-lattice dimerization occurs (spin-Peierls transition). For M = Pt, Ni, ferro/ferrimagnetic chains develop with moderate/weak antiferromagnetic coupling. |
