This paper presents optimum solution of fuzzy assignment problem by using fourier elimination method. This method is to obtain a minimum assignment cost in fuzzy environment for a fuzzy assignment problem with all parameters are triangular fuzzy numbers. Fuzzy numbers are converting in to a crisp number with the help of ranking functions. Here we are using centroid methods as ranking functions. The method in detail is discussed and illustrated by a numerical example. This method helps in assigning and implementing the persons to works successfully on one–one basis so that it increases the number of potential bidders and it minimize the total fuzzy assignment cost and total fuzzy time. |
