Popis: | Cationic and anionic AgNM+/− (M = Sc–Ni) clusters are explored to examine the electron-counting rule. Among 18-valence-electron clusters, endohedrally doped ones are stable due to superatomic electron-shell closure involving delocalized 3d electrons. |
