Popis: A female newborn presents with a large erythematous lesion on the abdomen with diffuse pitting and erosions of the skin, bleeding lesions on the chin, serous leakage from the right antecubital fossa, and fusion of the fourth and fifth digits of the left hand (Fig 1). Figure 1. ### Prenatal and Birth Histories: The infant was feeding well, active, and afebrile after birth. Immediately after delivery, the newborn was noted to have a diffuse erythematous rash with scattered vesicles weeping serous fluid and fusion of the fourth and fifth digits of the left hand. Given concern for infection in the setting of a broken skin barrier, the newborn was admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit overnight on the first postnatal day. ### Vital Signs: ### Physical Examination
