Popis:	A method has been developed for the preparation of new pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines and tetrahydropyrazolo[3,4-b]quinolinones by the reactions of 5-amino-1-aryl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitriles with aliphatic and cyclic 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence of anhydrous tin(IV) chloride.
