This study is a linear chain transmission experiment. Participants will read a vignette and then be asked to recount the vignette to a friend via text. This output will be used as the input for the next participant in the chain, and so on. Participants will be grouped into moral-politically homogenous chains and seeded with the same morally ambiguous vignette. There will be a progressive, conservative, and libertarian chain. I will conduct both qualitative methods (qualitative coding) and quantitative methods (propositional analysis). |
