Fencing virtually counts on speed, skills and tactics. All offensives and defensives represent instant responses by players. Performance of visibility is, therefore, virtually important about the outcome, win or loss. In this study, we picked up eight fencers as the trial subjects to look into the corrective rate of visual codes working memory (instant memory) and the Critical Fusion Frequency (CFF) which might be affected by the environmental illuminance, codes display duration time, and mask colors. The findings indicated that within the environmental illuminance for fifteen minutes would affect the corrective rate of 6-digit codes working memory but would not increase the CFF value. It won't affect the corrective rate of visual codes working memory when fencers wearing a mask. The duration time of the codes display will, nevertheless, affect the corrective rate of the visual codes working memory. |
