Popis: | By means of the electroretinogram, the retinal function can be assessed objectively (Armington, 1974). The interest in the electroretinogram (ERG) for the clinical study of diabetic retinopathy has greatly increased since Yonemura (1962) found abnormal oscillatory potentials in diabetics, and Simonsen (1962) established that this was the case even in the absence of ophthalmoscopic evidence of a retinopathy. |
