This chapter describes various statistical approaches for solving the real-world problems of clinical research. So many illustrations were demonstrated by using real data sets often to clarify the research pedagogy at higher level. All sections are described in lucid manner and many practical research implications were described clearly. The underlying concepts of new statistical approach including basic and some more advanced techniques are also covered. This chapter is an attempt to present the advanced analytical techniques with suitable examples driven from the real data sets, which the clinical researchers and academicians need. A considerable part of the entire chapter is devoted to demonstrate design of experiments experienced in real-life clinical settings. The reader will be able to follow various sequential ideas, thoughts, and views in the forthcoming chapters. New or advanced methods are probably desirable to overcome explicit findings and scientific temperament for the formulation of suitable design of experimentation to conduct clinical research at global level. All clinical research designs and newer statistical methods will help clinicians, researchers, and policy makers for implementation of new randamized control trail (RCT) guidelines and juxtapose to extend and conduct clinical research in various settings. |
