Analysis of Influence of Baffle Height on Liquid Sloshing Characteristics in Tank

Popis: Due to the increasing demand for shipping, the problem of the stability and safety of the tank structure caused by liquid sloshing has also been paid more attention. This paper builds a three-dimensional model and creates a numerical model based on the VOF method. The effect of the height of the vertical baffle on the sloshing characteristics such as waveform variation, flow field distribution, and sloshing pressure is studied. The results show that the higher the height of the vertical partition, the better the anti-sway effect.
