Popis: The watching brief comprised the observation by a competent archaeologist of all intrusive groundworks associated with the development. These works comprised the machine excavation of foundation and service trenches, and ground reduction to facilitate the construction of a new access road and playing field. Following the observation of the excavation of the foundation trenches to below the top of the undisturbed natural substrate piles where installed. In July and August 2020, Cotswold Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief during groundworks associated with the construction of a two storey classroom and nursery extension with single storey link and removal of mobile classrooms at Honeybourne School, Honeybourne, Worcestershire. No features or deposits of archaeological interest were observed and no artefactual material was recovered.
