Popis:	During the preparation of Ba-Y-Cu-O superconductors, a new crystal having a super-K 2 NiF 4 structure was found. Single crystals of the new phase Ba x Y 2− x CuO 4 have been obtained. The cell parameters are a = 10.290 A, b = 5.692 A an d c = 13.187 A. The dimension of the crystal is 3.5×1×1 mm 3 .
