Popis: | Silica nanoparticles can be synthesized by a wide range of techniques with explicit control over their physical and chemical characteristics. They occupy an important position in scientific research, because of their easy preparation and their wide uses in various industrial applications, such as catalysis, pigments, pharmacy, electronic and thin film substrates, electronic and thermal insulators, and humidity sensors. The particle size and size distribution of these nanoparticles strictly control the quality of most of the products. Silica nanoparticle bio-distributions and toxicology show that silica nanoparticles may be well tolerated, and in some case are excreted or are biodegradable. In this study, silica encapsulated DVB nanoparticles are synthesized for their potential use in toxicology applications. |
