Popis: Fischer Tropsch synthesis (FTS) are renewed and interesting reaction for producing long chain hydrocarbons over metal supported catalyst. In this work, the effect of pore size diameter of cobalt supported mesoporous silica, synthesized by different method, on selectivity and activity towards gasoline and diesel were investigated. Cobalt-based catalyst was characterized by BET and H2-TPD technique. The FTS performance was carried out in a fixed bed reactor at 220°C, 1 atm, and GHSV of 305 h-1 for 24 h time-on-stream using H2:CO ratio of 2:1. The results show that pore size diameter of 20CS1 catalyst is larger than 20CS2 catalyst. Larger particle size of 20CS1 catalyst results in a lower dispersion of Co metallic. Moreover, 20CS1catalyst gives high selectivity of gasoline-diesel products, while 20CS2 catalyst is selective to methane production.
