Popis: | In the paper the possibility of the stator winding interturn short circuit detection in the induction motor drives using technique based on parameter estimation is presented. Analysed method is based on the assumption, that selected stator faults are visible by parameter changes. The real-time observation of the estimated parameters, allows detecting machine faults. The developed method, presented in this paper, can be an alternative to the other, more complicated, methods, or used to enhance their effectiveness. The analysed method was tested in a drive system with an vector control of induction motor. As a control system the Direct Field Oriented Control (DFOC) structure was chosen. The estimators operations are presented in simulation results carried out in the MATLAB / Simulink software, under different operating conditions. Experimental tests were carried out on laboratory set-up, with a motor allowing physical modeling of the interturn short circuit in each winding phase of the stator of the induction motor, while the control structure was implemented using the rapid prototyping system dSPACE 1103 |
