Popis: Carbon dioxide (CO2) was monitored during the suberization phase of storage at one storage with both manually and computer-controlled bins and at another storage with a computer controlled bin. While maintaining the same average carbon dioxide level, the total fan run-times for the manually controlled bins were about five times longer than those for the computer-controlled bins. A 5 m/s (11 mph) wind blowing into the bin intake damper affected carbon dioxide patterns and concentrations.
