Popis:	We evaluated the effectiveness of various anthropometric indices in identifying metabolic risk among Japanese men and women (a total of approximately 17,000 persons from three observation periods), and found that waist-to-height ratio was better than other anthropometric indices as a predictor of metabolic risk.
