Popis: In this paper, based exclusively on measurements, is presented a study about the vibration behavior of wire rope isolators (WRI) used in a specific application of vibration attenuation of the exhaust line. The objective of this study was to make a comparative analysis between the vibration attenuation performances of these isolators subjected by the exhaust line to traction or compression load. The analysis results will help us find out which one of these mounting methods highlights best the isolators' vibration damping properties.
