Popis: | This paper discusses the details and results obtained from flash butt welding machine using bidirectional power flow controller. Flash butt welding is a type of resistance welding used in the manufacturing industries. The power flow control and the operational features of the flash butt machine are discussed in detail. The different modes of operation and the welding parameters such as welding current, welding voltage, displacement during flashing and pressure applied to the work pieces are well explained. The experimental results obtained during the welding process along with various welding factors are also documented in this work. |
