Popis: | Introduction Stress is a part of modern life. With increasing complexity of life, stress is likely to increase. There are differences in ways that married and single individuals experience stress. The present study was conducted to correlate perceived stress with marital status among working individuals. Thus study aimed to see correlation between perceived stress and marital status among working men and women. Materials and Method This study included 150 men and women working in Bengaluru city. Data like age, marital status and perceived stress were collected. Perceived stress was assessed using Perceived Stress Scale-10 (PSS-10) questionnaire. Findings The study showed that there was no statistically significant difference in perceived stress between married and single individuals (p=0.524).
