Photochemical reactions of monomeric and dimeric radical cations of acetone in freon matrices at 77 K

Popis: Monomeric [ λ max ≃ 435 nm, ɛ max ≃ (3.6 ± 0.6) × l0 3 dm 3 mol −1 cm −1 ] and dimeric [ λ max ≃ 715 nm, ɛ max ≃ (9.4 ± 1.2) × l0 3 dm 3 mol −1 cm −1 ] radical cations of acetone in a freon matrix at 77 K under the action of light react to form matrix radical cations and acetonyl radicals CH 2 COMe with quantum yields of Φ > (4.0 ± 1.0) × l0 −3 and Φ > (2.0 ± 1.0) × l0 −2 , respectively.
