Popis:	Summary This case report demonstrates an unusual cause of a soft tissue lump in the foot, an accessory abductor muscle of the fifth toe. The report highlights the problems of non-operative diagnosis of unusual lumps by radiological modalities, reviews the anatomy of this rare muscle and associated foot musculature, and briefly comments on the management of accessory muscles.
