Popis: | We describe a new device in which the asymmetry parameter in a SQUID can be varied by a temperature difference between the electron temperature in the normal metal barriers of the superconductor/normal/superconductor junctions that form the SQUID. We demonstrate that such a device would have desirable properties for a range of applications. |
