Popis: For determination of the absorbed dose and the equivalent dose in complex mixed radiation fields, new methods were developed using the changes of peak height ratios in thermoluminescence glow curves. The peak height ratio method for determination of the average LET in mixed radiation fields was used for measurements of the equivalent dose on board the space station MIR. Measurements were carried out during three different periods starting in January 1994. Two dosemeter packets were exposed for about 6 months until summer 1994 (RLF phase 1), two packets for about 12 months (RLF-2) and two packets for about 18 months (RLF-3). On the space station MIR two different positions, one with rather low shielding and another with heavy shielding, were chosen for measurements in order to determine possible differences in the average LET of absorbed radiation within the space station MIR. During a period of 182 days on space station MIR the measured dose rate was 0.300 ± 0.004 mGy.d -1 (low shielding) and 0.204 ± 0.005 mGy.d -1 (heavy shielding). LET determination has been carried out with the method of high temperature TL ratios (HTR). The results will be compared with the results obtained by Russian colleagues and with dose calculations.
