Popis: |
22 patients with post-traumatic asymptomatic extradural hematoma (APEHs) were randomized in two groups: 11 operated versus 11 nol operated. After CT scan controls patients were submitted to HM-PAO1 cerebral SPECT at 2.5 and 6 months. We found that 8 (73%) non opiated patients showed hypoperfusion areas at the first SPECT control and 3 (27%) of these remained positive at the second SPECT control. In the operated group 3 were SPECT positive at the first control but nobody at the second one. There is a correlation between thickness, volume reabsorption time and SPECT control findings. |
