Popis:	Periphyton consisting of decomposers, producers and consumers proved to be an excellent indicator of the water quality in the course of selfpurification of dairy wastes in a stabilization system consisting of 3 reservoirs in Dvorec near Nepomuk. The periphyton growing on natural substrata was sampled three times, analyzed microscopically, and the saprobic index was derived. Some interesting decomposers were shown on a plate.
