Popis: | High frequency electromagnetic simulation requires computationally expensive methods such as FDTD. The simulation time can be reduced by creating macromodels that describe the entire sub-region but provide input/output information only at a limited number of points. An alternative to the conventional FDTD method is to compute the macromodel response using eigenmodal decomposition techniques. We extend our earlier work to allow for efficient simulation of multiple macromodels. We discuss applications of this method to boundary conditions and an alternative method to compute results with multiple macromodels. |
