Hardware Development for a Multifunctional Wireless Spirometer Module

Popis: Nowadays, the problem of patient’s infection during the spirometric test for the respiratory system diagnosis is acute. This article describes the work carried out within the framework of the spirometer development. It will have the ability to diagnosis using a special technique only on the exhale, which will reduce the threat of infection when the device is used, for example in an antituberculosis dispensary. Technique only on the exhale was developed by scientists of the State Scientific-Research Institute of Physiology and Fundamental Medicine of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (Novosibirsk) in conjunction with Russian pulmonologists. As a result of the work, the experimental sample of the instrument was created, software for the initial testing of the model was developed. The device has been tested. The normal performance of the developed sample was confirmed.
