Popis: | It follows from an analysis of the published data that most of the reports on gas sulfocyaniding involved treatment in an atmosphere of ammonia with added carbonand sulfurcontaining substances, generally in gaseous form. The sulfur-containing substances (H2S, CS2, COS, SO2, mercaptans, and others) are generally toxic (the maximum permissible concentration of H2S is 0.I mg/liter), explosive (in mixtures with NH3 and its dissociation products), and in short supply. For example, a patent granted in 19695 employs a sulfocyaniding atmosphere of NH3 +C3Hs +H2S. The apparatus for sulfocyaniding was complex, since it was necessary to provide for separate storage of gases, reducing apparatus, flowmeters, mixers |
