Popis:	About 8% of all major trauma patients have eye injuries, which can have serious implications for the patients and their families. This article outlines a practical approach to the recognition, assessment and management in emergency departments of common ocular traumatic injuries. It also provides an overview of the applied anatomy, and discusses common complications.
