Popis:	A rotary drum shaker for harvesting processing toma-toes was designed and tested. The results indicated that virtually complete fruit detachment occurred under conditions of constant angular acceleration. Detachment efficiency was independent of the number of cycles of os-cillation to which the fruit-vine system was subjected during its transit through the machine.
