Popis: | We experimentally demonstrate the impact on polarization dependent loss (PDL) of the scattering element shape in a 2D grating coupler. Using e-beam lithography, we show that PDL may be reduced by more than 1.5dB with respect to gratings using simple circular scattering elements. |
