A generalized Rutgers formula derived from the theory of endoreversible cycles

Popis: The Rutgers formula describing the specific heat jump at the critical temperature of the superconducting-normal state transition is generalized by means of the method of endoreversible Carrot cycles, in which the optimization criterion consists of maximizing a multi-parameter combined objective function. The range of values of the thermodynamic parameter β in the superconducting transition is extended. The results derived here have a wider range of application than those of classical thermodynamics and cover all the conclusions obtained by Angulo-Brown et al.
