The issue of the coronavirus infection has acquired a great urgency because of the intensively developing psychological and psychiatric disorders of both in patients with COVID-19 and in the healthy population. The purpose of the present study was to explore the clinical- psychopathological aspects of the mental health of the country population during the COVID-19 pandemic and to find out the potential risk factors. The survey was conducted in the Facebook social net. It was shown that, in fact, in the «non-clinical» conditionally healthy population persons who demonstrated clinical signs of neurotic and affective registers both of symptomatic and of syndromic levels can be identified. It was found out that the high prevalence rate, the development regularities and the interdependence between the level of stress severity, personality characteristics of the respondents, clinical manifestations of a mental disorder and social-demographical parameters in the on-going quarantine settings showed their growing tendency. The epidemiological situation, the quarantine activities, the dramatic information on coronavirus, forced social passivity of people and financial problems form a certain clinical «reaction» of a personality that appears to be as one of the leading aspects of development of severe stress and subsequent clinical manifestations. The current situation pushes the issues of the mental health onto the level of national security that requires state approach to solve these problems by broad involvement of professional and public organizations. A task to elaborate mechanisms of improvement of efficacy of psychological-psychiatric aid in settings of pandemic, quarantine, social isolation and deprivation, to stimulate and initiate activities to implement modern technologies (tele-, video-, internet) in the treatment-diagnostic process is being set. |
