During the 1985–1986 appearance of Comet Halley, hundreds of photographic images were taken by the authors. These images were obtained with several telescopes, using different photographic emulsions and filters. All photographic images have subsequently been digitised with a PDS Microdensitometer. This paper describes the calibration procedure developed. |
