Investigating Complex Non-Reacting Flow Field in Combustor With a Two-Dimensional LDA

Popis: A vaporizing tube model combustor was constructed and the non-reacting flow field in it was measured by employing a two-dimensional Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) systerm. The complex flow pattern, including the recirculation zone, can be identified clearly. The turbulence distribution can also be obtained. Some experience with LDA application to combustor flow field measurement had been summed up. The measured results had been compared with those measured by a conventional two-dimensional pitot probe.
