In these days of the highly trained craftsman and the necessity for increased productivity, one of the most important problems of a Production Manager is the maintenance of the health of his employees and the reduction of absenteeism. Iudustrial dermatitis is one of the causes of absenteeism. Since it is not a notifiable disease, complete statistics of its prevalence are not available. However, it has been estimated that 70% of all time lost from occupational diseases originates from industrial dermatitis. |
