We believe that data sharing of visualized geological information of invisible earth subsurface is extremely important for the sustainable development of human society. Space and temporal coverage data for climate changes, geo-hazard mitigation, and evaluation of energy and natural resources are essential for future society. In this section, we would like to introduce some recent activities of Geoinformation sharing, mostly efforts by the Geological Survey of Japan in the Asia-Pacific region, that is, general information on Global Earth Observation (GEO), One Geology, G-EVER project, and CCOP Geoinformation Sharing Infrastructure. |
