Popis: | In this research, the control design of induction motor fed by multilevel cascaded H-bridge inverters is discussed. The goal of the design is to improve the dynamic response of the system by utilizing receding horizon model predictive control for the inner current loop. To achieve this goal, an optimized voltage vector is chosen by minimizing a cost function based on the predictive current error in every sampling period. As a result, the stator current quickly tracks its desired value in several sampling cycles. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method is verified by real-time simulations implemented by hardware in the loop platform. The results show that the dynamic of the control system is significantly improved and comparable to the well known direct torque control method. |
