The purpose of this article is to study the performance and characteristics of double star induction machine (DSIM). This study includes machine model, its converter model and control of DSIM. We analyze in the Matlab / Simulink environment the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the DSIM under different operating conditions and at different rotation speed. In this paper, we also examine the effect of shift angle of stator on DSIM performance. The results and discussions will be presented at the end of this article. |
