Sintering time effect on thermal diffusivity in BSSCO doped with Sm at low temperatures as revealed by flash method

Popis: | We report the effect of sintering time on thermal diffusivity of BSCCO (Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O) superconductors doped with Sm with different concentration. The superconductor samples were sintered for 24, 48 and 100 hours respectively at 850 Celsius. Thermal diffusivity measurement was carried out at 80 - 300 K by using photoflash technique. The sintering time was found indirectly affect the thermal diffusivity in the way it influenced the grain size and grain alignment.© (2004) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
