| Popis: | A comparative analysis of polymorphism of DNA fragments flanked by terminal regions of retrotransposon-like elements of the R175 family in rice and wheat varieties is performed. Differences are revealed in the distribution and polymorphism of such regions, attesting to the characteristics of their mutual positioning. The need in gene pool investigations to take into account the belonging of molecular genetic markers to various families of genomic elements differing in localization, structural and functional organization, conservatism/polymorphism, and evolution is shown. |
