Popis: | A 4 m isochronous cyclotron of JINR is being constructed for accelerating intense beams of heavy ions with A Z ratio of 3.5 to 25 proton units and a smoothly variable energy withing the range 400–625 Z 2 / A MeV. Basic physical parameters and ideas of this accelerator are presented. |
