Pulse-width modulation technique for a multi-input dc-dc boost converter

Popis: This paper investigates implementing of a pulse-width modulation technique on ripple effect of the input and output currents. The studied system consists of a multi-input dc-dc converter, two input energy sources and a resistive load. The energy sources can be either photovoltaic panels or fuel cell stacks. The simulation results for two scenarios are given to validate the study. For the proposed phase-shift switching signal, the output current ripple can be reduced.
