Popis: | The first part of the review examines in detail the structure of sigma-1 (σ1) receptors and the specifics of their intracellular localization and translocation. Literature data indicates that the σ1 receptors that are part of the so-called lipid droplet do not only stationary occur on the outer membrane of the sarcoplasmic reticulum, but they are also translocated to the inner surface of the cell membrane and/or the outer membrane of the cell nucleus. The role that the σ1 receptors play in regulating the function of cardiomyocytes is considered in detail. |
