Popis: American psychologist, a leading figure of behaviorism, Skinner contributed original laboratory techniques for the study of operant behavior; a formulation of the nature of a science of behavior (radical behaviorism), a selectionist view of the causation of animal and human conduct inspired by the biological evolution model; and proposals for applications derived from his experimental and theoretical work to education, psychological treatment, and social organization. He broadened the scope of the behavioristic approach by including verbal behavior and consciousness in his analysis.
